COSTS: As we are a small studio, we are able to keep costs low: £100 for a 4-hour session and only £160 for a full 8-hour day. This price includes a mixed & mastered CD to take home and the services of a professional producer who can help with melody, lyrics & arrangement and can also play acoustic, electric & bass guitar, keyboards and program the drums etc on your tracks.

LOCATION: Joe Public Studios is based in Barnet (north London / Herts), is on the Piccadilly line (Cockfosters) and is 5 minutes drive from the M25 (j24) and the North Circular (A406). 

TIMES: The studio is open from 10am to 6pm Tuesday to Saturday all year round - please visit our online diary to check available dates.

STUDIO: Joe Public Studios is acoustically treated and based around the latest 8-core Apple Mac Pro computer running all genuine software including: Logic 8;  FXpansion BFD 1&2; Stillwell Audio; Sonalksis; Toontracks S2.0 & Focusrite LiquidMix software. We use RME analogue to digital converters;  Audio Technica, Oktava, Shure & AKG microphones; Dynaudio & Alesis monitoring; Line6 POD, TLA Audio & Focusrite outboard; Vox & Marshall amps, Martin, Gibson, Warwick & Godin guitars.

Our in-house full-time producer is an experienced bass player & guitarist with over 15 years professional live experience and 10 years studio experience under his belt - enabling him to confidently 'add the band' to your project.  
Joe Public Studios can 'add the band' with drums, bass, guitars, keyboards - in fact whatever is required!  We can record, mix & master your whole project in-house and send you home with finished CD's & Mp3's of your music. Chad Neaves has just completed recording and mixing his impressive debut album 'Something In My Soul' at Joe Public Studios.  Chad's passionate, expressive & melodic vocal fit perfectly with his high-energy acoustic guitar playing and rhythm section. Danny Hart's Love Revue completed their eponymously titled debut album at Joe Public Studios and have gone on to garner a massive London following and enjoyed Xfm and Heart airplay for their single 'Soothe My Soul'.  The wonderful sound of Love Revue can be hear around top London venues and their album is available to buy now on iTunes.  Check them out at www.loverevue.com  
Jacinta Madison recorded 'Mister Lover' and 'Remind Me' at Joe Public Studios in late 2009 - see her awesome video for 'Mister Lover' on YouTube and she's currently in talks with none other than Louis Walsh -cooee! All drums, bass, guitars and vocals - in fact EVERYTHING - was recorded here at Joe Public Studios with Joe & Jacinta sharing production duties.
