PACKAGES

(1) Good Demo
The Good Demo package includes 8-hours in my private studio - usually 10am to 6pm but if you prefer two half-day.  I will listen to you perform your song, then we can talk about how you would like to sound. We can then get stuck into the production part, adding drums, bass, guitar, synthesizers, beats, effects - whatever we feel like! I can record your vocal in an unintimidating atmosphere and even give it a little tune-up if it needs it (I won't tell anyone, promise!). Finally we can mix your song and, if all went to plan, you have a record ready for release!

(2) Great Record
The Great Record package includes 8-hours in my private studio - usually 10am to 6pm but if you prefer two half-day.  I will listen to you perform your song, then we can talk about how you would like to sound. We can then get stuck into the production part, adding drums, bass, guitar, synthesizers, beats, effects - whatever we feel like! I can record your vocal in an unintimidating atmosphere and even give it a little tune-up if it needs it (I won't tell anyone, promise!). We will then book a world-class drummer to play on your track, this usually takes a few days.  I will then pull everything together, put the final production flourishes to your song and finally mix and master your song ready for release!

(3) Record My Band
The Record My Band package includes 4-hours pre-production - this is where I will come and see your band gig and/or rehearse This is a crucial step to ensure the band is completely prepared before we enter the commercial recording studio. My approach is purely collaborative - we will focus on tightening up arrangements, tempos, and instrument tones so everything runs smoothly when the clock is ticking. Once we are ready, I will arrange a visit to a funky London recoding studio with a live room large enough for the band to record together - we will have plenty of time, between 6 and 8 hours depending on the size of your band, to get great sounds and have a few practice runs, then record your song live. There should be time to do record the lead vocal seperatly if needed, and make some overdubs such as guitar extras, synths, backing vocals etc. After recording, usually a few days later, we bring the files back to my studio to edit, refine, and lay down any extra layers (backing vocals, extra guitars, synths, percussion). If the recording went perfectly, this phase will be brief; if we need to do detailed editing or build up layers, it will take a bit longer. Finally I take the recorded elements and craft the final mix and master ready for release!

(4) Mix My Song
The Mix My Song package is for those that have recorded a song already, probably at home, and need some help in that final stage of mixing - getting it to sound cohesive, full, wide and like a record. I will ask you to send me a set of audio files, one for each element of your song (e.g. Lead Vocal, Harmony Vocal, Bass, Guitar etc) without effects and I will import those into my own system and mix that. I will process the audio, fixing, editing and tuning anything tht needs a little tidy-up, adding effects for colour and then balancing the elements to create an impressive final result. Obviously, I am limited by the quality of the material you send me to mix and whilst I will work hard to get your song sounding as good as it can, even I cannot make something not that great sound like a Grammy ward wiunnig record - sorry!

(5) Master My Song
The Master My Song package is for me to master your already mixed song. Mastering is the final stage and is effectivly a quality-control and final polish exercise. I will take you finished mix as a stereo audio file and correct any overall EQ issues, make the song sound wider, fresher, fuller and louder. If there are significant problems with your mix, I might put the mastering on pause and ask you to make some changes to the mix before I complete the task. If you have recorded deveral songs and they all sound different, mastering can help bring them together in terms of EQ balance and volume.

(6) Play Guitar For Me
The Play Guitar For Me package is a remote guitar or bass session. Send me your guitarless song along with some guidance about what you are looking for and I will play and record you guitars that slot straight into your production without needing editing or processing. I can provide acoustic guitar, electric guitar and bass. Depending on the complexity of your project, I can offer to record one type of guitar or all three - I'll let you know when I hear your song!

(7) Remote Production
The Remote Production package is a less firmly defined offer for those that just need general help with their own projects. I can offer hourly consultancy over Zoom, Whatsapp, phone, email or text to help you in any aspect of your recording and production. Logic Pro tuition, tuning vocals, adding guitars, mixing advice - whatever you need!
